I will always miss Belle! But, Lakota has turned out to be the absolute perfect horse for me. He is so sweet natured and he learns so well. He's almost 6 years old and my trainer, Arthur says that for him to be so great at such a young age, he's going to be a phenomenal horse.
I went two weeks without seeing him at all because of going to North Carolina and then getting bronchitis. That killed me... he does such wonders for my emotional health. I got to spend some time with him last night and it's just amazing how great I feel after being with him. There is something amazing about a 1200 pound animal coming running when he sees you pull up and then being affectionate!!
I'm such an animal lover... as evident in the fact that we have three dogs and two horses.
Arthur and I plan to enter several shows this year and I'm really looking forward to it. Lakota has such an awesome prancing rack... he will do great in the racking class.
The first show is May 8th and I will definitely be posting on how we do.
I'm also excited about some of the online classes I'm continuing to take at Jessica Sprague and Little Light Studio. They have been so fun and I'm loving digital scrapbooking.
I'm going to post a few more layouts in the next day or so.
